Biography


Cassia Kite was born and raised in Auburn, Nebraska and attended Northwest Missouri State University earning a B.F.A in painting and sculpture, along with a B.S in Art Education. 
In 2003, Miss Kite took a teaching position with inner city public school in Atlanta, GA. In the summer of 2006, she moved to St. Petersburg, FL from Atlanta, GA to work within the educational departments of both the Museum of Fine Arts and The Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL. Between the years of 2006 and 2011, Miss Kite worked in an elementary school teaching K-5 art in Clearwater, FL. She received her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Teacher Leadership from the University of Florida in December of 2010.
Miss Kite is presently working at The Pendleton School, IMG Academies as the Middle and High School Art Instructor in Bradenton, FL. She maintains her studio time at her home and downtown studios where she resides in the Sarasota area.
